Carbon Reduction Plan

1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

MoodEaser Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 at the latest. As an agile, digital-first SME, we aim to maintain a low-carbon footprint by optimising remote delivery and localising our in-person clinical network to minimise environmental impact.

2. Baseline & Current Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. As MoodEaser Ltd was incorporated in August 2025, this 2025 reporting period serves as our first baseline.

* Scope 3 includes: Business travel, employee commuting, and downstream transportation/distribution associated with digital infrastructure.

3. Emissions Reduction Targets

In order to continue our progress toward achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:

• Maintain zero Scope 1 emissions by remaining a remote-first organisation with no company-owned vehicle fleet or gas-heated offices.
• Ensure 100% of digital hosting is provided by carbon-neutral data centres by 2027.
• Reduce Scope 3 emissions per patient episode by 20% by 2030 through enhanced local-matching algorithms.

4. Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed and planned environmental management measures:

• Digital-First Clinical Model: 100% of initial triages and a significant portion of therapy sessions are delivered via encrypted video link, eliminating patient and clinician travel.
• Localised In-Person Delivery: For cases requiring face-to-face intervention, our matching system prioritises clinicians in the closest geographic proximity to the patient, significantly reducing Scope 3 commuting emissions.
• Paperless Governance: MoodEaser operates a 100% digital administrative environment. All clinical records, invoicing, and patient resources are shared via secure digital pathways, eliminating paper waste and physical distribution.
• Sustainable Procurement: We prioritise hardware and software partners with verified Net Zero commitments (e.g., AWS and Render).

5. Declaration

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard.
